Wedding season: neutral set

Two piece set: Posh Square / Shoes: Old Navy (similar) / Clutch: Forever 21 / Bracelet: H&M (similar)

Two piece sets are a great way to make a statement, especially when paired together. I love a little peekaboo midriff, not showing anything inappropriate but suggesting enough to peek interest – which I believe is way sexier than showing off your entire body in a see-through dress! This top-skirt combo in particular is sooo comfortable to wear (the fabric is so soft!) and the length of the skirt is modest but not boring – thank you, tigh-high slit. The advantage with sets is that you can either wear them together, or match them to other pieces from your wardrobe, for example the skirt with a loose t-shirt tied to the side, and sneakers – ok I might have to wear that next time, I am loving the idea… 🙂

Black accessories are always the easiest way to add a touch of sophistication, but still keep the focus on the clothes. In this case, the whole idea was to stick to neutral tones, but you can switch up the black pieces with red ones for more color (don’t forget the lipstick!), or even prints like florals or stripes to make it more visually interesting!
