Hi friends! Happy Sunday! I can’t believe there is only one more weekend in August and then “summer” is over! Like what? Wasn’t it snowing last month?? I am so NOT ready to take out my winter boots – and yes I know we are still months away from winter but let’s be honest… Once September has passed it is all downhill from there.

On a bright note, it is the perfect time to wear this gorgeous summer AND fall appropriate dress! I saw it in store and fell in LOVE with the color palette (pair it with a faux leather jacket and dark heels and you are good until October). There are so many pretty details about this dress, like the tied-up shoulder straps, or the open back. A little tip, if you are not comfortable going bra-less opt for the sticky cups like I did! So comfortable – and not painful to remove I promise.

The girls at the store recommended me to wear wedges with the dress, but to be honest I find wedges unflattering – I just feel they make your feet look bigger and larger than they are… So I decided to take out my new pair of super simple super nude heels, which I love.

I hope you all had a good weekend, it’s been raining all the time here and the humidity has been killer. Stay tuned next week to see what it did to my hair… not flattering!

According to experts who spend a significant portion of their days figuring out how brands and so-called creators can play together nicely on Instagram, we’re at some kind of mid-point. There are still plenty of products sent out gratis to bloggers with fingers crossed that they’ll throw a picture of themselves online using it. Bernstein does this, too, albeit selectively. Milly recently send her an electric blue bag that was too bright for her taste. Bernstein wrote back, “I love this bag, but do you have it in black?”
