It has been a while since I’ve done a review of some of the beauty products I use, so I am dedicating today’s post to updating you on my skincare routine! A few weeks ago, I mentioned I had been struggling with acne and had finally found a product that was helping (see this post) – and now that that seems to be much better I have been dealing with skin discoloration and dark spots… Ugh, it never ends!
So I jumped at the occasion to test out this GOLD (yes you read that right) Bio-Brightening collection by Orogold. I’ll be fully honest, I was terrified to apply it to my face considering all the products have actual pure gold in them (I even thought I would scrape my fingers after applying the lotion on my face so I wouldn’t lose anything! I realized that would be taking it a tad though). But after just one use of the mask, followed by the dark spot solution and the moisturizer I could already genuinely say that I saw a difference, and now I am hooked!
As you can see on my (make-up free) face, the color of the mask is like pearls and it smells heavenly. Think getting a luxury facial at a salon, except you’re allowed to wear sweats and hang out on the couch at the same time.
It’s only been a couple of weeks since I started using the products, but the difference in my face AND CONFIDENCE is such a huge victory, and I cannot wait to see the results after a month, two, three,…. however long it takes me to scrape every drop of this magic!
PS: Here is the order I use the products in. I start with washing my face, and apply the 24K Bio-Brightening Pigment Balancing Mask. I rinse it off and continue with the Dark Spot Solution (only on the areas I want to brighten). I finish with the Skin Tone Moisturizer SPF 30. At night I will also do the Dark Circle Eye Solution SPF 30 – you are totally allowed to do that in the morning as well, I just don’t at this time 🙂 And finally, 2-3 times a week I will do the Complex Peeling which I absolutely love! So gentle on the skin but so effective!
