The last week of 2016, I got the chance to spend a couple of days in Paris (not at all planned for it, but that’s the beauty of living in Europe)! I believe I have a total of 381 photos, so narrowing it down down to 30 was a bit of a challenge – everything in Paris is worth taking a photo of!
Maybe you’ve heard that they took down the Lock Bridge in the city because it was just too heavy and threatened to break, but that hasn’t stopped people from putting locks everywhere you see!! These are around la Flamme de la Liberte aka Lady Diana’s flame on top of the bridge where she lost her life. You’ll also get the prettiest view of the Eiffel Tower from there!
If you visit Paris make sure you go to the roof top of the Galeries Lafayette – it is absolutely STUNNING and one of my favorite spots to take photos of the city (and will be the best background to your photos)!
Paris is a city that you can see a million times and still get amazed every time you go. I went many times while growing up, but being an adult and being able to see and experience it completely differently has made me fall in love with it so much more.
La Place Vendome and les Champs Elysees are two of the most beautiful places in all of Europe – and the shopping is insaneeee! But the biggest thing to know is how EXPENSIVE everything – and I mean everything – is there. You will not be able to find a cup of coffee for less than 6 euros and it is big like two sips… I am not kidding.
PS: I wore my Marc Fisher booties aaaaall day and they are like NEW. I didn’t take a lot of shoes to Europe, so I was a little stuck when deciding which ones to wear to Paris – and these were the most appropriate. I already knew they were comfortable, but when you can spend 12h on your feet walking around (and Paris is a BIG city) you know the quality is outstanding! I saw they were sold out right now but found some similar ones and I’ll be sure to alert you when they are back in!
