How to defy aging early on with Conture

Taking care of my skin has been one of my top priorities this year (especially considering I suffered with breakouts and now trying to recover the skin I once had). When 2017 rolled in I decided that I would spend more time finding the right products and tools for my face, and stick to them. Too many times have I jumped from products to products without giving them time to actually work their magic – I am too impatient to wait to see results – so this year I am challenging myself to try less but longer. Do I make sense?

Since I am getting closer and closer to the big 3-0, the aging process is slowing starting and I am NOT ready for it. I still have a few more years before hitting the milestone, but being closer to thirty than twenty is seriously freaking me out! I barely feel like I am old enough to go shopping without my mom, let alone use anti-aging skincare! But, and I am pretty confident in this statement, no one stays young forever. Right? And the earlier you start, the longer you will keep that bright and bouncy skin, and I am seriously set on keeping my body young as long as I can. Which is why I am so glad I recently discovered Conture. The technology behind this little machine uses isometric compression combined with low frequency vibrations to stimulate and tone the skin, which results in a more vibrant and youthful looking appearance. In my case, I have started to see some fine lines appear around my mouth and eyes. I guess all the smiling will do that to you! You know how Kim Kardashian doesn’t smile in pictures to avoid aging lines? Yeah, I am the opposite… 🙂

I have used my fair share of beauty products over the past couple of years, and never really know what to expect when trying them out. Some of them don’t live up to my expectations, while others exceed them far beyond what I thought could happen. This is one of them. It feels like little baby kicks (not that I personally know what it feels like – relax Dad, I am not pregnant), gently sucking your skin in, and the geniuses behind the invention designed it to only take a few minutes of your day!

Oh, and PS: none of these photos have been retouched or edited in any way, and I did not cover any of the areas of aging concern with concealer. What you see is exactly how my skin looks like since I started using Conture! I know they say confidence comes from within, but it feels DAMN GOOD to see results like that!!

I use my Conture every morning and evening. I start by cleansing my face using my favorite cleanser, then I apply the Kinetic Treatment Serum to the desired areas (around my mouth and eyes). Then I use the device – which is touch screen and looks like something from the future – and gently glide over the areas until I cover them all. To finish, I apply the Kinetic AM Ignition Lotion or Kinetic PM Recovery Creme depending on what time of the day it is 🙂

Just a few numbers for you in case you aren’t convinced yet:

  • 90.9% of clients saw improvement in skin radiance and luminosity (after 8 weeks)
  • 84.8% of clients saw improvement in skin texture, smoothness, and evenness (after 8 weeks)
  • 81.8% of clients saw improvement in lifting of facial skin, fine lines, and wrinkles (after 8 weeks)

I love learning about new anti-aging skin care. I’m 27 and someone told me I should have started when I was 25 so I’m hopping on that bandwagon!

How is this brand on sensitive skin? I’m always very wary of trying something new on my face, but especially now that I’m five months pregnant.

    • Marie

I have a pretty sensitive skin too but it hasn’t hurt it! I honestly don’t think it is an issue with being pregnant, but might want to double check that with the brand itself 🙂 XO

  • Erica @ Coming Up Roses

“Relax Dad I’m not pregnant” LOL LOL LOL. I’ve gotta get more adamant about anti-aging care!
