The first day you are able to wear a skirt and not freeze to death is a good day. Period. This little black FLUTTERY SKIRT has been hanging in my closet for a good 3 weeks now, and since up until last week we were buried in snow all I could do was stare at it and dream.
I loved the movement it made every time I would turn around or the wind would catch me, it made me feel like I was a little girl again twirling in my skirts and feeling like a princess!
I realized I didn’t own any BLACK OFF SHOULDER TOPS, which is such a crime considering they are my favorite style and I have them in every color but somehow the most basic one I don’t have! Crisis aborted, thanks to this DARLING SHIRT quarter length sleeves with golden button details (which don’t actually open – thus avoiding those awkward views of your bra in between buttons).
As you can see, it was slightly windy when we were out taking photos, and I don’t know about you but I tend to think I am cursed by Mother Nature. It NEVER seems to be windy when I am inside, but the moment I step out (most often when I wear something short, of course) the wind picks up and sends everything flying!
And PS: Let’s take bets on how long it will take me to get tired of wearing THESE FLATS… My guess is, when they break apart. I am planning on getting more pairs of LOAFERS before that happens, so I am never caught without a pair!
