August Instagram recap

Recapping my Instagram looks that didn’t make it to the blog this month!
You can find the details of every outfit below the photos, as well as mentions of sizing for each outfit.

I wore this outfit to a spa event a few weeks ago, and loved how comfortable and appropriate it was to spend the evening talking beauty! These pants fit true to size (I am wearing a size XS), and this tshirt (size XS) is incredibly soft and stretchy – which allowed me to tie it in the front.

Cooler days call for pants and some kind of outerwear (also because I am always freezing!), and since we are so close to “back to school” I thought this blazer was a suitable (pun intended) choice! I am wearing a size XS and it still fits oversized, so if you want it to be a bit more snug I would recommend sizing down.

Cutest summer dress, perfect for a quick put-together outfit with some fun sandals. I wore this to dinner with a friend while it was insanely hot outside, and it was the best decision I made – I got so many compliments on it and I seriously spent 30 seconds deciding what to wear! Dress sizes true to size, but since it is only elastic bands and no zipper I’d say you could wear any size.

Definitely one of my favorite sweater for the upcoming colder months! I just got it and I have already worn it out and at home (makes for the coziest snuggle sweater). It also comes in a bunch of different colors if pink isn’t your thing, and fits oversized – but that’s what’s great about it. Also, I wear these jeans at least once a week and cannot get enough. They are super flattering and comfortable since there’s no zipper.

I got so many comments when I posted this dress saying you guys loved how I matched my ice-cream to my outfit – but the truth is I really didn’t. That was a happy coincidence 🙂 I just loved the maxi relaxed dress (you should see the back). Plus that ice-cream was so good, but soooo big I couldn’t even finish it! Sweet Jesus, indeed.

Nothing better than a little black dress for a girls night out! I love the dress but wasn’t sure if I should be packing it with me to Italy (it does fit quite snug around the hips, and not sure if I would be able to indulge in pasta and pizza and still fit in it!) but according to all of you I should bring it sooo I shall. If you are slender around the hips I would recommend sticking to your regular size, but if you are like me and have a curvier derriere I’d suggest you size up (I didn’t and that might cost me spaghetti).
PS: these kitten heels are my FAVE but completely sold out 🙁

This was just yesterday, when I spent the afternoon frolicking in the sunflower fields and enjoying the end of summer sunshine. This midi dress is so light and easy to throw on, I couldn’t think of a better one to wear. I love how the stripes switch direction throughout the dress (that makes it really flattering on curves – or lack thereof). It sizes true to size, and I am wearing a size XS (also it is under $15!!).
