Why this is the most flattering midi floral dress to wear this spring

I feel like I have been very neglectful when it comes to keeping up with blog posts, so here is a new one featuring this new spring/summer addition to my closet. I actually got this dress weeks ago and have been waiting for the weather to agree with me before wearing it.

A few reasons why this dress is the most flattering one you’ll get this spring/summer:
1. Ruching: a tight dress is always more forgiving when accentuating your curves. The ruching of the fabric offers a bit more coverage and less “tightness” around the waist and belly area – so you can go ahead and indulge in everything!
2. Cowl neckline: wether you are smaller chested like I am, or have bigger lady lumps, a square cowl neckline is the most flattering as it covers that extra cleavage while still adding dimension to your décolletage. And square necklines are really in right now!
3. Midi length: midi dresses tend to flatter every body shape since they cut you off at the smallest part of your legs. Personally an area of my body that has always been difficult for me to tone is above my knees. If you are like me, midi dresses are your best friend as they cover that area while still showing off your legs.
4. Florals: any dress that offers a busy pattern is generally more flattering as it distracts from anything else going on. Big, bright colours are usually what you should be looking for if your goal is to pull the attention away from your problematic areas.
