What I wore to the Cirque du Soleil in Montreal

On Wednesday May 22nd, I was invited by Tourisme Outaouais to go see the Cirque du Soleil‘s Alegria show in Montreal. I have NO WORDS to explain how stunning and breathtaking the show was – it definitely surpassed all my expectations. We were so lucky to have the best seats in the grand tent, and even got to go backstage to meet some of the performers after the show! If you have the opportunity to see Alegria while it is around, I couldn’t recommend it more. I left with sparkles in my eyes and am definitely going back in a couple of weeks with my mom while she is in town!

I wore this beautiful burnt orange midi dress from Le Chateau to the event – I had been saving it for something special and am SO happy I waited to wear it because I felt like it suited the day perfectly! The shade is really really flattering on any skin tone, and the fabric is actually quite stretchy, making it comfortable to sit in for a few hours. Oh and it barely wrinkles so you are good!!

My nude pointy toe mules and white quilted bag are also from Le Chateau and are worth every penny. I have not dropped this bag since getting it, and the shoes are – believe it or not – not painful at all! The leather is really smooth and the heel is definitely sturdy enough to not make you wobble down the street (and if you have ever been to Montreal, it is full of pavement streets!).
